ABOUT BLUE ROOSTER COMBO
Blue Rooster Combo can provide mighty fine Blues and Jazz for all occasions. We are a flexible musical aggregation, ranging from two players (guitar/vocals and keyboard/vocals), to a trio (add bass) or a full-on 4-piece swinging, rocking blues, funk and roots band (add drums). The smaller groups are perfect for restaurants, wine events and dinner parties, they’re a little mellower and a little jazzier than the four-piece, and less costly as well. So whether you need a band to get a dance party going or just some nice grooves to add to a special event, Blue Rooster Combo can provide the right musical flavor. To find out more or to book Blue Rooster Combo, e-mail blueroostercombo@gmail.com, or give Bruce a call at (415) 298-0929.

Bruce is a Bay Area native who’s played on the Northern California blues circuit (and occasionally beyond) for more than 20 years.
Here’s what others have said:

David began his musical career in the San Francisco Bay Area playing keyboards and writing songs for local bands in the mid 1960s, over the years working with Cold Blood and many other local blues, Soul and roots rock bands. In the 1970s he owned and operated The Church Studio in San Anselmo, one of the first Bay Area underground recording studios, where clients included Boz Scaggs, Steve Miller, Jerry Garcia, and many more. He continued his playing and recording career with Etta James, Graham Nash, Mary Wells, and more. His original songs have been published by Warner Brothers Music and EMI Music, have been in films and commercials and were covered by other artists.
